The Rhoades School is scheduled to volunteer with Feeding San Diego on March 8, 2025. This is a community volunteer opportunity for parents, staff, and students. Our support helps Feeding San Diego get closer to ending hunger in San Diego County and serving over 29 million meals in the community annually. This is also an opportunity to learn more about food waste and how Feeding San Diego is helping address the problems of food waste and hunger in our community.

Important reminders:

• Please arrive 5 minutes early, the shift begins promptly at 9AM

• Closed-toe shoes are required. Tennis shoes or running shoes work great!

• Leave valuables in your vehicle.

• No food, drinks, or gum allowed in the warehouse- only closed, bottled water!

Youth Volunteer Reminders

• All volunteers must be 6 years to enter the warehouse. 

• All volunteers under the age of 16 must have an adult volunteer sign up and provide supervision during the volunteer shift.

• Our required chaperone ratio is 1 adult to every 5 volunteers ages 6 through 13 and 1 adult to every 10 volunteers ages 14- 16.
